Our doormats are created on mats made of high pile coir (coconut fiber) with a durable rubber backing. The design is created with a black liquid rubber (not paint or spray paint like most handmade mats you'll find on Etsy!) and sealed with a top coat of clear liquid rubber, therefore ensuring a long lasting design protected from the outdoor elements and foot traffic.
